We have exciting opportunities for Senior Social Workers to join the Community Team! This is a rolling advert. Applications are reviewed as received, and interviews are scheduled accordingly. Early submissions are encouraged.

These full-time, permanent roles offer a salary of £45,831 - £50,414 per annum, plus an annual retention bonus of £3,000, subject to eligibility.

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) seeks Senior Social Workers to join the Community Team. This role provides an opportunity to impact residents' lives positively and contribute to a supportive workplace.


About The Team

The Community Team includes Social Care Practitioners, Senior Social Care Practitioners, Social Workers, and Senior Social Workers, led by the Service Manager. Responsibilities include managing referrals, conducting assessments, arranging care, safeguarding, and representing the Council at multi-disciplinary meetings.


The Role

As a Senior Social Worker, you will deliver statutory services, conduct assessments, develop care plans, and support team members' professional growth. You will lead projects, chair meetings, and focus on safeguarding adults, achieving targets, and operating within budgets.

What We Are Looking For

* A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
* Experience in adult social care and managing complex caseloads.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Data Protection Act 1998, and Human Rights Act 1998.
* Experience in adult safeguarding.
* Leadership skills for supervising and supporting team members.
* Ability to represent RBWM effectively in multi-agency settings.
* A proactive and flexible approach to change and service improvement.
