GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Sports Coach to join a school in Sheffield (S10). This role provides the opportunity to support PE lessons, lead extracurricular sports activities, and help students develop fitness, teamwork, and confidence. As a Sports Coach, you will: Assist in delivering PE lessons and sporting activities. Support pupils in developing physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Encourage positive behaviour and participation in lessons and extracurricular activities. Help set up, maintain, and manage equipment for sports sessions. Work closely with staff to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students. Requirements for Sports Coach: Experience working with children or young people in a school or sports setting is desirable. Enthusiasm, energy, and a genuine passion for supporting students’ physical development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
