Job Title: Pricing Specialist
Location: Winnersh Triangle, Reading, UK

Pay Rate: £32,000
Duration: 6 Months
Summary:
As a Pricing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving price implementation within our organization. Your responsibilities will include ensuring customer price availability, addressing challenges, building stakeholder relationships, and implementing operational improvements. This role requires a proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Price Implementation:
1. Act as the subject matter expert for price implementation processes.
2. Proactively address challenges to ensure smooth execution and price availability.
3. Build stakeholder relationships to manage changes affecting price implementation.
4. Generate Price Reports and identify process improvement opportunities.
General Price Queries:
5. Respond promptly to customer emails and utilize different systems for a seamless process.
List Price Updates:
6. Ensure customer list prices are updated in the relevant system before implementation.
7. Proactively communicate with customers regarding price changes.
Customer Price Queries:
8. Resolve customer price queries promptly to prevent order delays.
9. Handle customer catalogue requests and update pricing portals.
Continuous Improvement:
10. Drive visibility reports to demonstrate the status of price implementation tasks.
11. Identify and escalate process improvement opportunities.
12. Develop a stakeholder and communication plan to enhance effectiveness.
KSA Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Education:
13. At least 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
14. High level of business acumen.
Competencies (Essential):
15. Advanced knowledge of Excel.
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
17. Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
18. Conscientious approach to work.
19. Ability to engage with people at all levels.
20. Good project management skills.
21. Good customer orientation and problem-solving skills.
22. Flexible attitude and ability to handle changing priorities.
23. Team player mentality.
24. Ability to work accurately to strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
25. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
26. Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects.
27. Mature and controlled reaction to work pressure.
Desirable:
28. Previous price implementation experience.
29. SAP and AS400 ERP knowledge.
30. Knowledge of the NHS or medical devices industry.

32. Exposure to Salesforce.com and/or Qlikview/Power BI.
