Warehouse Technician
Our client, a successful and dynamic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Warehouse Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth.
This is a full time permanent position, working double days shifts, based at Great Yarmouth.
Hours:
Week one
1. Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm
2. Friday 6am to 1pm
Week two
3. Monday to Thursday 1.45pm to 10pm
4. Friday 12.45pm to 6.45pm
Key responsibilities:
5. The role is responsible for the loading/unloading of vehicles, movement of materials between warehouses & production departments, and recording these activities on GMP/inventory control documentation systems.
6. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety.
7. Maintain a safe working environment by working safely.
8. Work efficiently and effectively ensure plans are achieved.
9. Identify and assist continuous improvement and lean projects within department.
10. Accountable for OTIF delivery to internal and external customers.
11. Ensure compliance with the QMS.
12. Comply with cGDP, Medicines, Medical Devices and Cosmetics regulations
13. Always work efficiently to current standards.
14. Prevent loss of time and maintain good timekeeping.
15. Avoid waste and identify and prevent where possible.
16. Suggest methods for continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
17. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
18. Have experience of working in a busy warehouse and operating mechanical equipment including forklift trucks.
19. Good numerical, verbal and written communication skills.
20. Experience of working within a regulated manufacturing/production environment (e.g. pharmaceutical, food production environment) and associated documentation.
21. Be a competent computer user.
