Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support secondary school students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in helping young people succeed both academically and emotionally.
Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning in KS3 and KS4 classrooms.
* Provide targeted 1:1 support for students with additional needs.
* Help students develop strategies to manage their emotions and behaviour in a classroom setting.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to prepare for and deliver engaging lessons.
* Build positive relationships with students to boost confidence and motivation.
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
* Support students during lessons, break times, and transitions as needed.
Qualifications
* A passion for helping young people succeed.
* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
* Ability to build trust with students and work as part of a team.
* A flexible and proactive approach to supporting a range of needs.
* Experience working with young people is desirable, but not essential.
