Daysix is looking for a thoughtful Product Designer to join our healthcare-focused platform development team. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful products that genuinely help people manage their health, contributing to the design of both a patient-facing app and a clinician-facing portal.
We’re known for digging deep into problems, collaborating closely with partners, and building software that makes a visible difference and contribution. Our success comes from a culture that’s deeply inquisitive and focused on truly understanding the problems we solve.
You’ll collaborate with designers and developers on innovative, impactful projects, where our work directly improves the lives of clinicians and patients.
This role is ideal for a designer who looks "beyond the screen" and wants to grow their skills in mapping complex real-world services. You will bridge the gap between the complex reality of Healthcare workflows and our digital platform, ensuring that the technology supports the service effectively.
You can read more about who we are on our website.
Key Responsibilities
* Service Visualisation & Mapping: Participate in workshops with NHS clinicians to capture requirements and visualise the discussions. You will translate "As-Is" offline processes into clear FlowMaps and Service Blueprints to inform the digital design.
* Wire-framing & Information Architecture: Take agreed workflows and build clear, logical low-to-mid fidelity wireframes in Figma. You will help define the Information Architecture (IA) and user flows, deciding how a user navigates from A to B within the clinical portal and patient app.
* Content Structuring: Map clinical content provided by subject matter experts into digital app templates. You will act as a quality gatekeeper, flagging when content is too complex for a mobile interface and proposing structural improvements.
* Systems Understanding: Help map the interaction between the platform and wider ecosystem. The focus is on understanding the user triggers—identifying when and why a clinician interacts with specific systems to design intuitive touch points within the platform.
Who we are looking for:
* Figma Proficiency: Capable of moving fast in Figma to build clean, organised wireframes and clickable prototypes.
* A Systems Mindset: A designer who prefers solving logic puzzles and untangling messy processes over purely aesthetic design.
* Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable engaging with subject matter experts, digesting complex new information, and asking the right questions to clarify clinical workflows.
* Eagerness to Learn Service Design: While prior experience creating Service Blueprints is beneficial, a strong desire to learn how to map services and workflows is essential.
Must-Have Skills
* Figma Expert: You are fast, organised, and efficient in Figma, capable of moving from messy ideas to clean wireframes quickly.
* Strong Information Architecture: You excel at organising complex content and defining logical navigation structures.
* Process Visualisation: You can take a verbal description of a workflow and turn it into a clear, visual flowchart or journey map.
* Interactive Prototyping: You can build clickable prototypes to demonstrate flow and logic to stakeholders.
* Communication: You are comfortable presenting to and collaborating with non-design stakeholders (e.g., clinicians or product managers).
* Experience designing for Healthcare, MedTech, or complex enterprise sectors.
* Experience creating Service Blueprints or customer journey maps.
