Overview
Join to apply for the Gateway Service Advisor role at Barclays. You will be the primary contact for clients reporting queries and incidents. You will diagnose and resolve technical and financial queries via inbound calls, outbound calls, and emails, working in close collaboration with other internal teams.
Responsibilities
* Provide customer service to customer questions, concerns and requests regarding accounts, products, and services in a timely and professional manner.
* Collaborate with teams across the bank to align, promote, and integrate customer care initiatives.
* Manage and maintain customer records and documentation to ensure accuracy.
* Address customer questions and requests while maintaining customer service expectations.
* Escalate requests to the relevant team or senior management as required in a timely manner.
* Execute customer service activities through various channels including chat, email, and phone.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience handling voice calls and emails without compromising quality; liaising with clients and colleagues at all levels.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to tailor messages to the audience.
* Experience with PC tools including Microsoft Office; familiarity with ecommerce transaction flows and payment mandates such as Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).
* Good knowledge and understanding of the UK card processing industry; understanding of integration methods such as API and HPP.
Additional Skills
* Servicing background to internal or external customers (valued).
* Microsoft 360 suite familiarity.
