Job Description
My client who are based in Heanor, are seeking a Financial Controller to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
You will be a hands-on and commercially minded Financial Controller capable of taking full ownership of the company's financial operations. You'll be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity across all financial reporting, while providing the strategic insight that supports business growth.
The Role
1. Oversee all day-to-day financial management and reporting activities.
2. Deliver accurate and timely financial statements and analysis.
3. Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
4. Drive efficiency and continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting.
5. Partner with senior management to provide actionable financial insight that supports strategic and commercial decisions.
The Candidate:
6. Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance position.
7. Strong technical accounting expertise with exceptional attention to detail.
8. Proficiency in Sage is essential.
9. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
10. Commercially astute with the ability to influence and support business growth.
11. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and hands-on environment.
