About the Role
We're looking for a professional, customer‑focused Concierge to join our team at RMG. As the first point of contact for residents and visitors, you'll be the welcoming face of the development, delivering excellent front‑of‑house service while ensuring the building remains safe, secure, and well‑managed.
Where Will I Be Working?
Site based at a development in York (YO31)
Working Pattern
37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 PM
What You'll Be Doing
1. Providing a warm, professional welcome to all residents and visitors
2. Responding to queries and offering helpful information on the local area
3. Handling telephone enquiries courteously and professionally
4. Accepting, organising, and managing deliveries
5. Signing in/out contractors and checking their completed works
6. Inform Management team of all matters which may affect the Residential Management Company.
7. Deal with all add on services required by the client, including but not limited to;
8. General P.A office administration by the client.
9. Assisting with rental property key handovers.
10. Reporting to the client any demised apartment issues not relating to the building.
11. Recording all activity, including resident complaints and incidents
12. Ensuring noticeboards and building signage are up to date
13. Liaising daily with the Property/Building Manager and supporting inspections
14. Developing strong knowledge of building services, installations, and facilities
15. Keeping the concierge desk/office clean, tidy, and well‑presented
16. Supporting residents' meetings where required
17. Assisting with rental key handovers and reporting any apartment‑specific concerns
18. Taking ownership of daily standards and proactively addressing issues
What We're Looking For
19. Experience working in a front‑of‑house, residential, or customer‑service role
20. Excellent communication and customer‑care skills
21. Highly organised with strong attention to detail
22. Self‑motivated and able to use initiative
23. Calm, courteous, and professional under pressure
24. Smart, professional appearance with consistently high personal standards
25. Ability to work well independently or as part of a wider team
