We are recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join a dedicated Facilities team based in a beautiful location near the Conwy Valley. This rewarding temporary role offers the opportunity to support a well-respected charitable organisation providing vital care services to local children and families. In the Maintenance Operative role, you will be: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance Assisting with preventative maintenance and compliance checks Completing minor repairs including plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating Supporting fire safety, emergency lighting and water safety tasks Maintaining maintenance records and reporting faults Assisting with the upkeep of external areas and equipment Supporting contractors on site and following health & safety procedures Assisting the wider Facilities team with ongoing projects To be considered, for the Maintenance Operative role, you will need: Previous maintenance or facilities experience A recognised trade qualification or equivalent practical experience Good all-round maintenance skills Strong communication and basic IT skills A reliable, flexible and proactive approach Good understanding of health & safety practices A full UK driving licence due to the location of the role This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of an organisation making a positive difference within the local community. Full-time temporary assignment for approximately 2 months, working Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 16:00. The hourly payrate is £13.80 per hour holiday pay accrued whilst on assignment.
