We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller/Programmer to join a leading precision engineering company based in Coventry (CV7), West Midlands. This role is ideal for a CNC Machinist with strong CNC programming, CNC setting and CNC operating experience, particularly within a fast-paced machine shop environment.
Location
Based in Coventry (CV7) - ideal for candidates from Coventry, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Birmingham, Leicester, Hinckley & surrounding areas.
Pay
£15.00 - £17.50 per hour, depending on experience
Hours
Mon-Thurs: 6:45am - 4:00pm
Fri: 6:45am - 11:45am
Key Responsibilities
* CNC Programming, Setting and Operating on milling machines
* Offline CNC Programming (OneCNC preferred - training provided)
* Producing 1-off and prototype components to tight tolerances
* Using precision measuring equipment: micrometers, bore mics, depth mics etc.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Working with Haas CNC machinery
* Maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy and attention to detail
* Meeting tight deadlines in a busy precision engineering environment
* Following all health & safety procedures
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Programmer, CNC Setter Operator, or CNC Machinist
* Strong understanding of CAD/CAM or offline programming
* Ability to work on tight tolerance machining
* Background in precision engineering, automotive, aerospace or manufacturing (advantageous)
