We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading Mechanical Contractor on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer seeking stability and a predominantly site-based role, with minimal travel required. You will be based at a large commercial facility, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas systems and associated plant.
Key Responsibilities:
•Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems.
•Diagnose faults and complete necessary remedial work.
•Ensure all work is completed in line with current gas safety regulations and company standards.
•Conduct routine inspections and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
•Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
•Liaise with site teams and management to ensure smooth operation of services.
Requirements:
•Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
•Relevant commercial gas qualifications (e.g., ACS Commercial Gas certifications)
•Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
•Full UK driving licence.
