We are looking for an experienced Stock Control Assistant / Junior Stock Controller to join our expanding Warehouse and Logistics team on a temporary contract starting ASAP
Pay: £12.60 per hour

About the Role
As part of the Warehouse and Logistics team, you will play a key role in ensuring that all stock items are accurately accounted for, easily located, and maintained in the right conditions. You'll support the day-to-day running of the stock control system and contribute to the smooth flow of goods through the business — from ingredients and components to finished products.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct daily warehouse cycle counting and stock reconciliation, reporting any discrepancies to management
* Complete weekly D2C cycle counts and reconciliations
* Update inventory systems to maintain accurate stock levels
* Track and balance warehouse consumables, notifying management when restocking is required
* Conduct initial investigations into customer complaints related to stock discrepancies
* Monitor and report on internal stock transfers, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner
* Support the wider warehouse team with picking and packing during special promotions or busy periods
* Assist with special projects and ad-hoc operational requests as needed
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar stock control or warehouse role is essential
* Excellent PC literacy and confidence using inventory systems
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
* Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone
* Team-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy
Location: Aston Clinton (must be able to commute reliably)
