Role Description
Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a passion for cybersecurity and a drive to make a real impact? We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a strong technical background, and is excited to help shape the future of infrastructure and security at Merthyr Valleys Homes. Your responsibilities will include providing 3rd line support, assisting with major projects, and acting as an escalation point for team members. Building strong relationships across the organization to understand system needs and deliver effective solutions is key.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to collaborative working and have extensive experience as an Infrastructure Engineer with an interest in cybersecurity. Proficiency in the Microsoft product suite (including Teams, SharePoint, Defender, Entra), managing telephony systems within Microsoft Teams (including Contact Centre), and device management using Microsoft Intune are essential. Knowledge of LAN, firewall, Wi-Fi technologies, and experience with Cisco Meraki are advantageous. You will need the relevant Right to Work documents for the UK.
