JB437: Welder Location: Atworth Salary: Up to £36,504 per annum Overview First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Welder on behalf of one of our clients. Duties and Responsibilities for the Welder: Welding of mild and stainless steel & alloys using both MIG and TIG processes. Measuring, cutting and finishing welded works to high standards. Maintaining own tooling and workstations. Ensuring workstation is kept clean and tidy and free from fire risks. Training other team members when applicable. Using hand tools such as grinders, circular saws, band saws and other hand tools relevant to the job. Working independently and on own initiative to set timelines and standards. Ensuring standards of good housekeeping are achieved in all work areas, including workshops, vehicles and at on site locations. Carry out any other reasonable projects, tasks or duties to support the business as directed by management. Compliance with company H&S, maintenance procedures & quality control to work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
