The Strachan family has four generations of experience designing, manufacturing and installing luxury bespoke fitted furniture for discerning clients throughout the UK.
The company is seeking to appoint an experienced Paint Sprayer to work alongside colleagues in the team.
Description
The position requires a person with:
* Experience and training in spraying and painting bespoke furniture.
* Ability to produce high quality, accurate and timely work.
* Ability to meet client demands and tight deadlines.
* All-round skills to be flexible and produce a variety of work as directed by line management.
* An ability to work tidily and safely at all times.
* Preferably an ability to read and follow drawings.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be:
* Experienced in the furniture industry.
* Confident in the use of water-based paints.
* Knowledge of lacquers and staining would be advantageous but not essential.
* Able to colour match samples to customer requirements.
* Able to produce work accurately.
* Willing and able team player dedicated to implementing projects on time.
* An excellent communicator with colleagues.
* Able to learn quickly from our training.
* Aspiring to progress own career.
* Paint spraying machine experience would be ideal.
