Our client is a prestigious five-star country estate hotel known for its beautifully restored interiors, exceptional service culture and unforgettable guest experiences. They are searching for an experienced Duty Manager to play a key role in overseeing the estates daily operation, ensuring every guest receives an impeccable level of service from arrival to departure.
Due to the hotels countryside location, your own reliable mode of transport is essential.
Youll be wondering whats in it for you as a Duty Manager
£35,000 per annum plus circa £5,000 service charge
40-hour contract
A rotating mix of early, mid and late shifts
Accommodation available if required (youll need to drive to access the hotel)
Responsibilities as a Duty Manager
Overseeing the smooth running of all guest-facing areas, ensuring exceptional service each shift
Leading Reception and the Porter team with clear guidance, support and strong operational direction
Managing arrivals, departures, guest enquiries and service recovery with professionalism and warmth
Maintaining seamless communication across departments and being visibly present during peak times to welcome guests and support the team
Handling incidents and emergencies confidently, completing thorough handovers, and contributing to operational improvements and service excellence
Youll be a great fit if you have
Previous experience working in a 5-star luxury hotel, in a supervisory or managerial capacity
Strong leadership skills with the confidence to guide teams in a demanding, fast-paced environment
A polished, professional approach and genuine passion for delivering exceptional service
A full driving licence, with the ability to commute to the hotel (or use accommodation)
