Location: Huddersfield office (apart of Actemium Automation Yorkshire)
Hours: Full time 37.5hrs per week
Salary from: £45,000 onwards (experience dependent)

Actemium Automation Huddersfield are seeking a talented Senior Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team!
️ What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Controls Engineer at Actemium Automation Huddersfield, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of control systems for a wide range of automation projects.
From concept to commissioning, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge solutions that exceed our clients expectation.
Your day-to-day will include:
1. Actively participates in the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish
2. Foster great relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
3. Produce, design and test documentation
4. Develop PLC, HMI and SCADA software
5. Perform testing with customers
6. Carry out on-site commissioning and compile training manuals to run customer training sessions
What you bring:
7. Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMI/SCADA development.
8. Good understanding of setting up, commissioning, and fault finding of industrial networks (Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet) preferred, but not essential
9. Strong understanding of control systems theory and industrial automation standards.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
11. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex automation projects from conception to completion.
