About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Salesforce Administrator who wants to be more than “just” an admin. This role is perfect for someone with a few years’ experience who’s ready to take ownership of our Salesforce ecosystem — supporting our people, shaping how we use the platform, and helping us stay ahead of the curve.
You’ll act as the go-to Salesforce expert for our business: managing day‑to‑day admin tasks, leading internal training, communicating system updates, and working closely with our external Salesforce partner to drive development projects and ensure alignment with global best practices.
Alongside Salesforce, you’ll lend support to our IT Manager (especially during holidays) with general IT and user support, making this a great opportunity for someone who’s both tech‑savvy and people‑focused.
If you’re looking to grow your career towards Salesforce development or systems leadership, this role will give you the variety, visibility, and mentorship to do just that.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary in‑house Salesforce Administrator — managing users, permissions, page layouts, flows, reports, dashboards, and system configuration.
* Maintain data integrity and accuracy through regular monitoring, validation, and clean‑up routines.
* Handle day‑to‑day troubleshooting and support requests from staff, ensuring quick and clear resolution.
* Implement new features, updates, and process improvements in collaboration with department heads.
* Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices — communicating relevant updates to the business.
* Work closely with our third‑party Salesforce partner, acting as the main internal contact for projects, escalations, and system development plans.
Training and Internal Development
* Deliver regular in‑house Salesforce training sessions for new starters and refresher sessions for existing team members.
* Create and maintain training materials, guides, and “how‑to” videos to support consistent usage across the business.
* Communicate system updates, feature launches, and best practices through internal channels (Slack, email, training sessions, etc.).
* Champion Salesforce adoption and engagement across all teams, ensuring it becomes a tool people love to use.
IT & Systems Support
* Support the IT Manager during absence or high‑demand periods with basic IT queries, hardware setup, password resets, and user onboarding.
* Assist with general software and systems administration tasks as needed (e.g. Google Workspace, device management).
* Proactively suggest tech solutions or process efficiencies to enhance how our teams work.
About You
Essential
* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a professional environment.
* Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM201) or equivalent hands‑on expertise.
* Strong understanding of Flows, validation rules, page layouts, reports, and permission sets.
* Confident communicator with the ability to train, coach, and support users across all levels.
* Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams.
* Comfortable liaising with external suppliers or partners.
* Tech‑savvy, adaptable, and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve systems.
Desirable
* Interest or experience in Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning components, or platform builder certification).
* Experience working with integrated apps or automation tools (e.g. Zapier, Slack, Google Workspace, Mailchimp).
* Familiarity with property or professional services industries.
