Overview
We’re on the hunt for an organised and proactive individual to become a vital part of our Business Support team. As a key team member, you’ll be responsible for providing confidential, accurate, and timely administrative support to help ensure the smooth running of our services. You will work independently, manage your own workload, and show initiative.
Responsibilities
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and excellent keyboard abilities
* A brilliant communicator with exceptional written skills to liaise effectively with service users, family and carers as well as our internal and external partners
* A skilled minute-taker with a keen eye for detail
* Experience in Social Care, Health Authority or a related field
* Knowledge of non-discriminatory practices and an understanding of the diverse needs of those accessing Adult Services, versatility in general office tasks: maintaining spreadsheets, filing, scanning, photocopying, etc.
* Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with service users, carers and staff at all levels on the phone, emails and via Microsoft Teams
* Organisational expertise and the ability to prioritise workload
* A flexible, adaptable approach to work in a fast-evolving environment
* An ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards
