About the Role
Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter with hands-on experience repairing electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes?

As my client is one of the UK’s leading companies that provides a variety of high-quality services across multiple industries, and are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Repair, refurbish, and service electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out testing on both mechanical and electrical components.
Strip down, rebuild, and test equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Work to strict health, safety, and quality standards, maintaining accurate service records.
Collaborate with engineers and workshop teams to meet customer requirements and deadlines. Skills & Experience
Proven background in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally within a workshop or maintenance setting.
Strong working knowledge of electric motors, pumps, or gearboxes (highly desirable).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
A proactive team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude. What’s on Offer
