Alternative Provision Tutors - Greater Manchester
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting passionate and adaptable Tutors to work across a range of Alternative Provision (AP) settings in Greater Manchester.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people who may be disengaged from mainstream education, helping them to re-engage with learning and achieve their full potential.
The Role:
* Delivering tailored 1:1 and small group tuition across core subjects (e.g. English, Maths, Science)
* Planning and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
* Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
* Building positive, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and progress
* Working collaboratively with staff to support each student's personalised learning plan
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children or young people, ideally within alternative provision or similar settings
* Strong subject knowledge in at least one core area
* A patient, flexible, and creative approach to teaching
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* A genuine passion for making a difference to students who need extra support
