Purpose of the Role
To lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team that delivers joined-up, outcome-focused support for children, families, and/or adults. You will ensure high-quality practice, effective collaboration, and measurable results that enhance lives across the local community.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clear leadership, management, and direction to the MDT.
* Supervise, mentor, and motivate staff across multiple disciplines to ensure effective performance.
* Allocate and monitor caseloads, prioritising risk and need appropriately.
* Promote reflective practice and continuous learning within the team.
* Support staff with complex casework and provide case consultations where needed.
* Ensure all assessments and interventions are timely, evidence-based, and outcome-driven.
* Foster and maintain strong working relationships with partner agencies.
* Coordinate joint working arrangements and optimise service delivery pathways.
* Represent the council at key meetings and multi-agency forums.
* Contribute to audits, quality assurance processes, and service planning.
* Uphold equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.
