Bid & Proposals Manager
Location: Nottinghamshire | Salary: £35-45k
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bid & Proposals Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end tender and framework bid process. This role is key to supporting business growth by producing high-quality, commercially strong bids that reflect professional standards and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, qualify, and manage bid opportunities across tenders and framework portals.
* Lead the full bid lifecycle, from qualification to submission.
* Coordinate internal contributors and lead bid meetings.
* Produce PQQs, tender submissions, presentations, and clarifications.
* Maintain bid libraries, track outcomes, and support marketing activities.
* Ensure compliance with ISO standards, GDPR, and company policies.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a bid/proposals role.
2. Excellent written, verbal communication, and document production skills.
3. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
4. Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
5. Confident with tender and framework portals.
6. Desirable: experience in fire & security or accredited environments (ISO, NSI, ...
