NICS EOII £30,458-£31,097 per annum (pro rata for part time)

We are recruiting for a pool of Helpline Advisers for vacancies arising in the next 12 months.
Do you want to help people know more about their housing rights? If you want to make a difference in peoples lives, join our team as a Helpline Adviser.
Previous experience providing housing advice is not essential as Housing Rights provides full training and supervision.
About The Role
You will be working on Housing Rights busy helpline providing specialist, comprehensive, holistic advice and information on the core areas of homelessness, housing debt and housing issues to members of the public and relevant agencies.
You will give advice by phone, email, web chat and face-to-face. Our housing helpline and web chat are open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm.
About You
You will bring:
* at least 6 months full time (or equivalent part time) experience in a customer contact centre or advice role
* experience using Microsoft Office and have good typing skills
* strong people skills
* strong numeracy and literacy skills
You Can
* explain complex topics clearly, both verbally and in writing
* work in a fast-paced environment
* work with people who are in distress and upset
* work well as part of a diverse team

We help people with their housing and homelessness problems through our helplines and advice work.? We use their experiences to bring change and improvements with our policy work.
