We are seeking a permanent Respiratory Nurse Advisor for a hybrid position that does not involve weekend work.
In this role you will be responsible for carrying out patient reviews and conducting specialist clinics, using your in‑depth knowledge to advise and support general practice staff. You will have the opportunity to work in specialist clinics, homes and from home.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform patient reviews and conduct specialist clinics.
* Advise and support general practice staff in respiratory care.
* Travel across the Somerset – Taunton area for clinic duties, with travel distances up to 1.5 hours from home and possible overnight stays if travel time exceeds 2 hours.
Essential Qualifications
* Registered Adult Nurse with an active NMC Pin.
* At least 3 years’ experience managing respiratory conditions in a primary care setting.
* Currently undertaking COPD and/or asthma reviews on a regular basis in primary care.
* Full driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
* Ideally holds a COPD/asthma diploma.
* ARTP qualification.
* Experience in spirometry.
Pay & Hours
* Pay: £39,000 – £42,060 (dependent on qualifications and level of experience).
* Hours: Full‑time – five days a week (Monday to Friday, 8:30–17:30); Part‑time – three days a week (between Monday and Friday, 8:30–17:30). Hybrid working options at the employer’s discretion.
