Your Role in Our Team
As a Year 6 Teacher in Godalming, you'll be instrumental in creating an inspiring and effective learning experience for your pupils. You'll:
* Plan & Deliver Engaging Lessons: Design and deliver a creative and stimulating Year 6 curriculum that meets all learners' needs, focusing on deepening core subject understanding, fostering independent learning, and preparing for Key Stage 2 assessments.
* Foster a Positive Classroom Environment: Create a nurturing, inclusive, and well-managed classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
* Assess & Monitor Progress: Regularly assess pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching to ensure every child reaches their full potential, preparing them for future academic challenges and the transition to secondary school.
* Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure a holistic approach to pupil development and well-being.
What We're Looking For

* Qualified & Experienced: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have relevant experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6. We welcome applications from experienced primary teachers and those seeking KS2 teaching roles.
