About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Contracts Manager to join a growing team in the utilities sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and contract management expertise to ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects across [insert relevant sectors—e.g., water, energy, telecoms].
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the delivery of multiple utility contracts across various sites
* Serve as the key liaison between clients, project teams, and senior management
* Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
* Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and industry regulations
* Support commercial teams with cost monitoring and contract variations
* Lead project reviews and progress meetings
* Promote health and safety, quality, and continuous improvement on all projects
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the utilities or infrastructure sectors
* Strong understanding of contract law and standard forms (e.g., NEC, JCT)
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications:
* Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
* SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid certifications
