Job Summary
This role is key to helping us share the stories that reflect our vision of introducing more people – particularly young people – to Jesus and deepening discipleship. The focus is on gathering compelling, authentic stories from across the Diocese – capturing the life of our parishes, communities and supporting several national and community‑led projects such as Fit for Mission, National Church Funding and more. You will shape the content for a range of platforms, including social media, newsletters, website and press, helping us to connect meaningfully with a wide and varied audience. It’s a fast‑moving role that plays a vital part in how we communicate our message and mission. A key priority is expanding our reach – engaging a younger, more diverse audience in meaningful ways. We’re looking for someone who can spark original ideas and has the drive and ownership to turn them into fully realised campaigns from concept to completion. This isn’t always a desk‑bound role. We want you out in communities and parishes, uncovering powerful stories and capturing the moments that define who we are, then amplifying them to maximise their impact across our communications.
