We’re working with a friendly secondary school in Wakefield that’s on the hunt for a passionate English Teacher to join their team in September—or sooner, if you’re ready to roll. The school champions creativity, consistency, and student voice, with a real focus on developing confident communicators.

What you’ll be doing:
* Teaching KS3 and KS4 English with creativity and clarity
* Building students’ skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking
* Creating a positive classroom culture where everyone feels heard
* Using assessment and feedback to help every student grow
You’ll need:
* UK QTS or a recognised secondary teaching qualification
* Experience teaching English at KS3 and ideally KS4
* Strong classroom presence and a love for language
A warm, inclusive approach and a good sense of humour
