Job Summary
To assist the Duty Manager and act as a team leader for front line staff ensuring each facility is a safe and pleasant experience for users.
To act as senior person on site as per rota.
To contribute to the development and implementation of a nationally accredited quality scheme.
Hours of work
Average 36 hours per week.
The post holder must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant. Our Leisure Centres are open seven days a week with opening hours ranging from: Down Leisure Centre 6:30am – 10:00pm; Newry Leisure Centre 6:30am – 9:30pm.

Permanent.

Down Leisure Centre, Downpatrick.
The post holder may be required to transfer to other locations in accordance with any requirements stated in the Job Description, any reviews of service delivery or other requirements as may arise from time to time. Any amendments made to work location will be implemented following appropriate consultation and provision of reasonable notice.
Salary
Scale 4, SCP 9-13, currently £27,254- £29,064 per annum based on a 36 hour week (pro rata to hours worked).
