About the Role
As a Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef, lead and engage the kitchen team to deliver excellent service across 14 shifts per week. You will ensure the kitchen operates effectively and safely, maintaining high standards in food quality, hygiene, and safety protocols. You'll be proactive in managing stocks, health & safety, and hygiene, and will oversee the pass to ensure food is served on-spec and on-time, upholding 5-star kitchen standards.

What You Bring
* Experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager looking to advance
* Proficiency with fresh ingredients and good kitchen skills (food prep, hygiene, knife skills)
* Strong work ethic, leadership, and ability to deliver high standards
* Driven and proactive in overcoming challenges
* Knowledge of KPIs and decision-making in the absence of the Head Chef
* Excellent communication skills with stakeholders and team members
* Familiarity with rota scheduling, sales, labour forecasts, recruitment, and HR
* Experience in training and recruiting kitchen staff, including apprentices and junior chefs
