Job Overview
Lakeside Arts is hiring two Duty Managers to support the safe and successful delivery of events across our facilities. In this role you will manage events, oversee gallery spaces, lead teams of ushers and invigilators, and ensure the overall quality and safety of Lakeside’s diverse programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage events and oversee gallery spaces.
* Lead teams of ushers and invigilators.
* Ensure safe and efficient running of publicly open facilities.
* Provide administrative support for customer‑facing operations.
* Collaborate with various colleagues to deliver effective customer service and public safety.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work and lead as part of a team.
* Strong decision‑making, initiative and problem‑solving under pressure.
* Enthusiasm for arts, heritage and culture.
* Experience managing live events and/or public facilities.
Working Conditions
This is a permanent, part‑time position of 20 hours per week, with flexible working across variable hours, including daytime and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends. Hours may vary and are balanced as time‑off in lieu.
