Head of Human Resources
* Location: Hybrid - combination of time at the London office, remote work and regular visits to clinics across the group
* Initial commitment: 3 days per week for the first 6 months and a guaranteed transition to full-time thereafter
* Compensation: £70,000 p.a. full-time equivalent (£42,000 p.a. during the initial 3-day-per-week period) + equity

Kinetico Health is building the UK’s leading group of private musculoskeletal clinics.
We acquire and grow outstanding clinics across the UK, partnering with clinic leaders and investing in systems, people, and culture. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Head of HR to help us build the people infrastructure that will support a rapidly scaling healthcare group.
This is a unique opportunity to build the HR function from the ground up in a fast-growing healthcare platform.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on, strategic HR generalist who can own the full people agenda across the group. You will work directly with the founders to build the systems, policies, and processes that will scale with the business.
The role will initially be structured as three days per week for the first six months, with a guaranteed transition to full-time thereafter as the company continues its growth trajectory.
This role reports directly to the Co-CEO / COO and works closely with clinic leaders across the group.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent & Recruitment
* Build and manage the group’s recruitment strategy
* Support hiring across clinics and head office roles
* Build relationships with recruiters and other talent pipelines
* Over time develop a scalable talent acquisition function
* Help shape and strengthen Kinetico’s employer brand to attract top talent
2. HR Infrastructure & Policies
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures across the group
* Maintain a group-wide staff database and compensation tracker and support the development of consistent pay structures across the clinics
* Standardise onboarding, probation processes, and performance management
* Support the development of a strong culture and leadership framework
3. Employment Structure & Compliance
* Provide guidance on employment structures, including self-employed practitioners
* Manage matters related to IR35 and contractor classification
* Ensure compliance with UK employment law and HR best practice
4. Employee Relations & Leadership Support
* Support clinic leaders with people management challenges
* Advise on disciplinary processes, grievances, and performance management
* Help develop strong local leadership teams
5. Scaling the People Function
* Design HR systems and processes that work across multiple clinics
* Help professionalise the organisation as it grows
* Support organisational design as we continue to expand through acquisitions
* Organise cross-clinic initiatives and events to strengthen culture and collaboration across the group
6. Change Management & Integration
* Support the people side of acquisitions and integration of newly acquired clinics
* Lead change management initiatives as the organisation scales
* Support communication and alignment during periods of organisational change
What We’re Looking For
Experience
* 8+ years of HR experience
* Strong HR generalist background
* Experience in either healthcare, multi-site businesses, or consolidation platforms preferred
* Strong understanding of IR35, contractor models, and self-employment structures
* Experience building HR processes in growing organisations
