Ever thought of being a Kitchen Designer? You don't need to come from our sector, or have product knowledge; we will provide you with all the training and development you need. Our most successful Kitchen Designers come from a variety of different sectors and backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common: they deliver an exceptional ‘Customer Experience’ for both Trade Customers and Homeowners.
Having a Full UK Drivers License and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role, as you will be required to travel locally. (If you are close to taking your test, please still apply.)
Hours - Monday - Friday 7.30am-5.00pm and Saturday’s 8am-12pm (working 2 in 4 Saturdays). We offer flexible working hours, which can be discussed at the interview stage.

What will I be doing?
* Our customers are Traders and Homeowners. With your new knowledge of our products and design skills, here’s a snapshot of branch life at Benchmarx.
* Building strong relationships with customers is key; it’s essential to develop long-term relationships and deliver high standards of service.
* Working with Homeowners, you will produce accurate plans and quotes professionally and promptly, understanding their project needs and creating their ‘perfect’ kitchen, while keeping Trade Customers updated.
* Using your knowledge and creative flair, you will ask insightful questions to understand what’s important and design the ideal kitchen using CAD, securing sales.
* You will build a network of customers to meet targets and collaborate closely with the external Sales Rep regarding customer requirements.
* Not all customers visit the branch; you will visit customers’ homes or building sites regularly, drawing up inspiring designs on CAD and presenting them.
* Safety is paramount; you will ensure colleagues and customers leave the showroom safely by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
