South Lanarkshire Council requires an experienced Plasterer to support various projects within Building Services. The role involves carrying out all associated plastering works including new build, refurbishment, and maintenance, with a flexible approach to managing varied workloads.
You should be time-served with trade qualifications such as SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in the relevant trade discipline, demonstrating sound practical technical competencies and high-quality workmanship. Experience in working within both commercial and domestic properties in the construction industry is essential.
Beneficial qualifications include Notifiable non-licensed work Category B trained with Asbestos.
The candidate must demonstrate experience within either commercial or domestic properties in the construction industry.
Excellent customer care principles, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. The candidate should have experience working to targets and timescales, with an awareness of health and safety regulations.
Due to job requirements, the ability to travel throughout South Lanarkshire is essential.
