What you'll be doing:
We’re looking for a Strategic Project Manager to join us on a 6‑month FTC maternity cover, driving key transformation and operational initiatives - with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly build relationships, hit the ground running, and bring strong project delivery discipline to a fast‑moving environment.
Your impact:
* Lead our internal improvement portfolio - driving progress, ensuring accountability, and keeping delivery on track.
* Boost operational efficiency by rolling out initiatives aligned to Atech’s long‑term strategy and industry best practice.
* Accelerate organisational transformation, working across teams to simplify processes, unblock decisions, and speed up execution.
* Share your progress publicly, delivering clear updates and visuals at company all‑hands every 6 weeks.
* Shape how we report by maintaining monthly ExCo updates and embedding consistent, best‑practice reporting across the business.
* Own and maintain key operational tooling - dashboards, scorecards, roadmaps, and documentation.
* Stay ahead of risk, identifying issues early, coordinating solutions, and escalating when needed.
* Keep delivery flowing, tracking cross‑functional dependencies and removing blockers.
* Collaborate across Atech and group functions, ensuring alignment and a joined‑up approach to transformation.
We want to hear from you if you:
Essential:
* You have proven experience in project or programme management, ideally within a technology, MSP, or operations‑focused environment.
* You’ve successfully delivered cross‑departmental initiatives, juggling multiple projects while influencing senior stakeholders.
* You understand project governance inside out - RAID management, planning, reporting, and structured delivery.
* You’re a clear communicator who can translate technical detail into concise, business‑friendly updates.
* You’re highly organised, comfortable managing changing priorities, and skilled at maintaining momentum.
* You build strong relationships, engage stakeholders proactively, and challenge constructively when needed.
* You’re confident using Microsoft 365 and familiar with dashboards, reporting, and collaboration tools.
* Full working rights in the UK (Sponsorship not available)
Desirable:
* An understanding of technology services, cloud, or managed service environments.
* Familiarity with the EOS framework.
