Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team, covering Manchester and the wider North West area. The role involves the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire alarm and security systems across commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities
Fire Systems
* Service, maintain, and fault‑find fire alarm systems (conventional & addressable)
* Carry out emergency lighting inspections, testing, and remedial works
* Ensure compliance with BS 5839 & BS 5266
Security Systems
* Install, service, and maintain CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and system upgrades
General
* Complete service reports and certification accurately
* Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts
* Manage workload independently
* Ensure all works comply with industry standards and company procedures
* Participate in on‑call rota if required
Requirements
Essential
* Proven experience with fire alarm systems and security systems
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
* Knowledge of relevant British Standards (BS 5839 & BS 5266)
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently
* Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable
* FIA units or equivalent qualifications
* Experience with systems such as Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Hikvision, Paxton, Texecom, Galaxy, etc.
* ECS / CSCS card
* IPAF
* Commercial and multi‑site experience
