The role will involve working on a broad range of construction and engineering disputes, including:
1. Adjudication, mediation and Expert Determination.
2. International and domestic arbitration.
3. Pre‑Action Protocol matters within construction and engineering disputes.
4. Litigation in the Technology and Construction Court and Scottish courts.
5. Providing strategic advice throughout the project lifecycle on contractual and risk issues.
The firm is seeking a solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE and solid experience handling complex construction disputes. Candidates should have strong technical skills, excellent communication and client‑handling abilities, and confidence managing a varied contentious caseload. Experience supervising junior colleagues and contributing to business development would also be beneficial.
