Salary: Support Salary Grade B2 - £14,331.16 per annum (to reflect the number of working hours/weeks per year), (£24,796 per annum FTE)

Working Pattern: 25 hours per week Monday - Friday:

Mondays and Fridays: 8:40am - 1pm

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 8:40am - 2:30pm

Wednesdays: 8:40am - 2:40pm

Interview: Week commencing Monday 12th January 2026

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Learning Support Team at St Mark’s Church of England Aided Primary School. We are seeking a motivated individual to provide an excellent level of support to both staff and students in the school.

The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, hard working with a sense of fun, and have the ability to apply knowledge and skills from training in a practical classroom context. They will work in partnership with the teacher to foster effective participation of pupils in the social and academic processes of the school

Experience of working in a classroom setting would be an advantage but the successful candidate does not need to have specific training as full training and induction support will be given where needed. Learning Support Assistants encourage learning as part of a team working with teachers and other LSAs, working under the direct supervision of both the class teacher and SLT.
