Technical Trainer - Machining

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Annual Leave: 30 days per year plus statutory Bank Holidays (38 days altogether)
Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
About the Role
As a Technical Trainer - Machining, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment to apprentices and learners working towards machining qualifications and apprenticeship standards. You will work closely with employers to plan learning, monitor progress, and ensure learners are fully prepared for End Point Assessment.
Teaching and assessing qualifications are desirable but not essential - full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver and assess machining training, including Machining BTEC units and apprenticeship standards
2. Carry out learner induction, initial assessments, and develop individual learning plans
3. Maintain a caseload of learners and support them to achieve qualifications on time
4.
