As a Senior Family Engagement Officer, you are dedicated to building strong, positive relationships with families and creating a welcoming environment at our center. You have a passion for community development and can meet the needs of service users. With excellent communication skills, you are able to engage effectively with families and provide them with the right guidance and support.
You will be the first point of contact for families entering our service, ensuring they feel supported and welcome. Your responsibilities include managing the reception area to maintain a welcoming, clean, and safe environment, handling inquiries via phone, email, and face‑to‑face, and offering advice on various matters like childcare, health, and financial benefits. Additionally, you will manage the centre's calendar, maintain our database, and lead on program coordination, ensuring high‑quality data integrity and compliance with data protection policies.
* Excellent ICT proficiency
* Strong communication, both verbal and written
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
* Experience with data management and quality assurance
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with families
* Knowledge of local services and support for families
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures
