Warehouse Team Leader
to support the daily running of our warehouse and help drive performance, safety, and team spirit.
As Warehouse Team Leader, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping our warehouse running like clockwork. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you'll lead a team of operatives to ensure stock is received, stored, picked, and dispatched smoothly and accurately.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising a team of warehouse operatives, providing daily direction and support
* Leading by example with a "can-do" attitude and hands-on approach
* Ensuring all health & safety standards and procedures are followed
* Supporting with training and development of new and existing team members
* Monitoring workloads and ensuring operational KPIs are met
* Communicating effectively with other teams (e.g. retail, logistics, and customer service)
* Taking part in stock control, stocktaking, and keeping the warehouse clean and organised.
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting (team leadership experience preferred)
* A good understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures
* Confident, approachable, and organised with strong communication skills
* Someone who leads from the front and isn't afraid to get stuck in
* IT literate – comfortable using basic systems (WMS experience is a plus)
* Flexible, proactive, and able to work well under pressure
