An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy and collaborative Development Sales team within a highly regarded law firm based in London.

The Role
You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a busy Development Sales team, assisting with a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of matters from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing general administrative support including filing, scanning, printing and managing incoming post/couriers
* Preparing and sending completed documents and cover letters
* Supporting fee earners with file opening and onboarding processes
* Producing bills, handling invoices and assisting with completion monies
* Liaising with clients via telephone and email, taking messages and managing queries professionally
* Submitting searches through online search providers
* Maintaining accurate electronic and hard copy filing systems
* Assisting with shared inbox management and wider team support
* Providing cover for other secretaries within the team when required
About You
* Previous Legal Secretarial experience within a law firm environment
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
* Confident communicator with strong client service skills
* Fast and accurate typing skills, including audio and copy typing experience
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also using initiative independently
