Project Engineer Location: BroughtonContract Duration: 12 months Pay Rate: £27.75 per hour PAYE / £36.70 per hour UmbrellaHours: 35 hours per week (overtime paid at premium rate) About the Role Carbon60 are looking for a Project Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering function of our leading aerospace client in Broughton. This role plays a key part in supporting and improving production processes, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved. You will work closely with operational teams on the shop floor, delivering value-adding engineering solutions while minimising production disruption. Key Responsibilities Conduct process mapping, requirement definition, and solution developmentDeliver end-to-end project activities including analysis, design, integration, acceptance and deploymentCreate lifting processes to support crane operationsManage cost, schedule, resources, and project documentationLead risk identification, reporting, and mitigationWork with stakeholders to define AS-IS and TO-BE processesProduce project financials including cost-benefit analysis and budget trackingDevelop technical specifications based on operational requirements Skills & Experience Essential: Strong project management experience within engineeringExperience working in a production or manufacturing environmentConfidence simplifying and communicating complex topicsEffective stakeholder management Desirable: Project management accreditation (e.g., Agile, LBIP)Experience with lifting/handling methodsKnowledge of FMEA, SWOT, 5 Whys, Fishbone, flowcharts, Click n BuyExperience using Planisware or similar PM tools How to Apply If you're an experienced engineer with strong project delivery expertise and a passion for improving manufacturing performance, we want to hear from you.
