The Role
We are recruiting for an Aircraft Engineer – Mechanical to support aircraft maintenance activities under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1), ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and company standards. You will play a key role in maintaining aircraft readiness through inspections, servicing, defect rectification, and supporting operational requirements.
Experience
* Practical experience in aircraft maintenance or engineering environments (service or commercial aviation desirable)
* Experience working on pressurised or un-pressurised aircraft (desirable)
Skills
* Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow risk assessments and technical instructions
* Ability to carry out maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently to deadlines
* Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Competent in using hand tools and ground support equipment safely
* IT literate, including MS Office systems
* Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable with a customer-focused approach
Qualifications
* Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent (including Maths, English, and Physics modules)
* Human Factors knowledge
* Eligible for security clearance (UK/ITAR requirements)
* Medically fit to perform aircraft maintenance tasks
