Our well established client based on Stafford Park are looking for experienced electrical wiring Reworks and Assembly Operatives to join their team on a long term, ongoing temp to perm placement, with opportunity for permanent contract after 12 full working weeks through Swift Temps Ltd.
The Assembly / Rework Operative will be working Monday to Friday 8am-4:15pm at a rate of £12.24 P/H with optional overtime available paid at a premium
Hours/ Pay/ Location:WORKING ACROSS 3 LOCATIONS IN STAFFORD PARK, TELFORD
* Basic hours: 39 hours a week Mon to Fri 8am to 4.15pm
* Overtime weekdays after 39 hours : £16.32ph
* Weekend overtime after 39 hours: £18.36- £24.48ph
You will be working in a small department within a busy national distribution center, rewiring electrical goods following specific SOP's.
Duties will include:
* Using hand tools
* Packing and Labelling
* Following SOP's
* First off and last off checks
* Quality checks
* Re-wiring
* Electrical Assembly
* Assisting other departments where necessary
Experience of rewiring and wiring work is absolutely essential and those without wiring experience need not apply, as their applications will not be considered.
For this role you must be able to confidently read and write in English.
Full on the job training is provided however experience in a similar role is necessary, with commitment to long term work essential
