The Renfrew County and District Health Unit has an opening for one (1) temporary, Public Health Inspector.
Qualifications Skills and experience:
* Certificate in Public Health Inspection – (Canada);
* B.Sc. (Environment) or equivalent;
* Excellent knowledge of Health Protection and Promotion Act and relevant regulations;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language;
* Acceptable vulnerable sector check required;
* Proof that you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19; and
* Valid Ontario ‘G’ Driver’s License and own vehicle required.
Location: Pembroke Office (on-site)
Term: From February 23 until August 31, 2026
Hourly Rate: $43.48 to $49.95 plus prorated vacation time and 14% in-Lieu of Benefits.
