Motor Vehicle Teacher (industry applicants welcome) Location: Worcestershire Positions Available: Full Time – Permanent Part Time – Fixed Term (18.5 hours per week until July 2026) About the Role We are working with one of the UK’s largest and most reputable college groups to recruit two Motor Vehicle Lecturers to join a state-of-the-art Motor Vehicle Centre in Worcestershire. These roles are perfect for both experienced educators and qualified motor vehicle professionals looking to transition into teaching. You’ll be delivering inspiring and practical lessons to learners on Level 1–3 Motor Vehicle programmes, supporting their development towards employment or further study. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging practical and theory sessions in Motor Vehicle studies (Levels 1–3). Assess student work and progress, maintaining high academic standards. Collaborate with curriculum teams to ensure quality and consistency. Motivate and support students from varied backgrounds to achieve success. What We’re Looking For Minimum Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent) and IMI accreditation. GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). Experience in the automotive industry (essential). Teaching experience is desirable but not essential – the college welcomes applications from motor vehicle professionals who are keen to move into education. Industry to Teaching Pathway If you’re an experienced technician or mechanic without a teaching qualification, you’ll be supported through the transition into FE.
