Role Overview
HR Operations Advisor – 12‑14 month maternity contract starting mid‑May 2026.
Location: Northampton (NN4), 37.5 hours per week, hybrid working. Salary: £34‑£37,000.
EXCLUSIVE ROLE
Reporting
Reporting to the UK HR Manager and collaborating with EMEA HR teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing HR administration across onboarding, contract changes, promotions, leavers, and off‑boarding.
* Preparing and maintaining employment documents – contracts, addendums, offer letters, exit paperwork.
* Keeping HR systems and employee records accurate, up to date, and audit‑ready.
* Acting as the first point of contact for employee HR queries around policies, benefits, and processes.
* Coordinating with HRBPs, Talent, and C&B to ensure a smooth employee experience.
* Tracking probation periods, fixed‑term contracts, and key employment milestones.
* Ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and internal policies.
* Supporting audits, data checks and HR reporting (headcount, attrition, leave, etc.).
Qualifications
* 2+ years’ experience in HR administration or HR operations (CIPD preferred but not essential).
* Solid understanding of local employment law and HR best practice.
* Confident using HR systems (SAP, Workday, Oracle or similar).
* High attention to detail; notices when things don’t add up.
* Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information.
* Calm under pressure and able to manage time‑sensitive transactions.
